We had an amazing Bus Tour last Wednesday! The FRC Recovery Bus Tour was a tremendous success, all thanks to the wonderful participation of everyone involved!
We’re thrilled to have had such a strong turnout from partner organizations and resilient survivors who joined us to celebrate the progress made in our recovery journey. Together, we had the opportunity to learn about available programs, acknowledge the obstacles that still exist on the ground, and forge a path towards a stronger future.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our elected officials and their representatives for their invaluable support. We’d also like to recognize the wide-ranging organizational participation, including Coalición Fortaleza , Rogue Action Center, Rogue Workforce Partnership, Oregon Department of Human Services, Oregon Housing and Community Services, ACCESS, Jackson County Community Long-Term Recovery Group – JCC LTRG, and countless others who contributed to the success of this event. Your dedication is truly commendable!
A special shoutout goes to RVTD for generously providing us with a bus and our amazing driver Jeff. We learned that Jeff was part of the evacuation effort on September 8, highlighting the commitment and bravery of our community members.
Additionally, we express our gratitude to Umpqua Bank for their grant support, which made these tours possible.
With one tour completed, we’re energized and ready for the next two! Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our journey towards resilience and progress. Let’s keep this moving forwards together!
